Almost each of you knows taste
of
knuckle prepared in the Bavarian fashion served
in "Taurus"
bars located near international E-4 route in Ładna,
Pilzno and Strzegocice (road 73).
Its taste is known for many truck drivers and
trippers visiting scenic areas of Podkarpacie.
These visitors come from the whole Poland. In
the visitors' book you may find signatures of:
Eleni Group, such singer as Zbigniew
Wodecki or popular TV artists.
However
"Taurus"
is not associated with knuckle only. This proud
name "Taurus", that can be translated
into "Bull" is inseparable connected with
dynamically developing Meat Industry Enterprise
located near one of the bars in the west part of
Pilzno in the 58 Legionów Street.
Mr. Stanisław Jarosz
is owner of
this Enterprise.
Many
of you have known products from "Taurus".
So, it is adequate moment to know better the enterprise,
where they are produced. At the beginning we present
several facts from history of the Company. The history
is rather short, so the dynamic of the Company development
is presented convincingly.
Meat
Industry Enterprise "Taurus" was established
in 1989 at the beginning of economic changes in
the country. This enterprise had been functioning
for two years as a small plant engaging 15 employees.
20 pigs, 1 cow and 5 calves were slaughtered
everyday in this plant.
Obtained meat was processed and products were sold
in Pilzno.
Construction of present seat of
Enterprise started in 1991 and finished in 1992.
Till to-day Company has been continuing slaughter
and processing and production capacity and number
of employees have increased twice. In 1997 slaughter plant located
in W.Witosa Street in Pilzno was purchased from
Igloopol Company in Dębica. This plant was modernized
in the same year. Withdrawal of slaughter from
Plant in Legionów Street started its development
and modernization, what has resulted in significant
increase of production capacity and improvement
of technical and sanitary standards.
In the Company, 250
employees are engaged in production
and services in shops and bars.
Assortment offer of
"Taurus"
is wide. Company offers about 80 assortments of
products. Most of them are produced on the
basis of traditional technology.
Everybody,
who forgot test of home-made ham or sausage, should
visit shops of "Taurus". Sale of meat
and its products is carried out with use of own
trade market network and co-operation with other
wholesale firms and retail recipients. Company is
in possession of three wholesale firms: in Pilzno,
Tuchów and
Tarnów and 7 shops located in Pilzno,
Ładna, Muszyna, Tarnów and Krynica.
Products from "Taurus"
are known not only in provinces Podkarpackie and
Małopolskie.
They are successfully sold in the area of provinces:
Lubelskie, Opolskie, Śląskie and Dolnośląskie.
